The details were released by the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) following a meeting of the tournament organising committee yesterday. FAT president Pol Gen Somyot Poompunmuang said: "The three teams participating in this year's King's Cup are all ranked higher than Thailand. "I think the tournament will help our players gain lots of experience from playing against stronger squads. "I am confident that it will be an exciting tournament for the Thai fans, no matter what the results are." FAT deputy secretary-general Patit Supapong added: "This year's King's Cup will be taking place during the Fifa break so there is a good chance that these countries will send their full squads as promised.
